Check-in Guide

Welcome to Our Home!
We're so glad to have you as our guest. This manual is designed to help you navigate and enjoy your stay. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. We hope you have a wonderful time here!

1. Thermostat (Nest)
Location: As you walk in the door, you’ll find the Nest Thermostat mounted on the wall immediately to your left.
Instructions:
The Nest is programmed to maintain a comfortable temperature during your stay.
Please set the thermostat to 55°F before you check out to help us manage energy usage when the house is unoccupied.
You can adjust the temperature using the dial or the touchscreen interface for comfort during your stay.

2. Get That Water Moving
Location: The top of the stairs next to the dining room
Turn on water pump switch. This is always turned-off at end of stays just in case!

3. Wifi
Wifi network: 69sparrowhawk

4. Bedrooms
Master Bedroom: Located upstairs.

Features a king-sized bed, nightstands, and ample closet space. Private en-suite bathroom with tub and shower.
Bedding and pillows are provided for your comfort.

Guest Bedrooms: Two guest bedrooms are located downstairs.

The first guest room is equipped with a queen-sized bed, nightstands, and closet space.
The second guest room is equipped with two twin-sized bunk beds, a dresser, and closet space.
Extra pillows and blankets can be found in the closets.
Sofa Pull-Out Sleeper: If you need extra sleeping space, we have a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room.

Extra linen for the sleeper is available upon request. Please let us know if you need it!

5. Televisions
Each of our TVs offers access to the most major streaming platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and more.
TV Remotes: Each TV remote is clearly labeled and attached to the wall with a magnetic holder for easy access.
Please return the remote to its designated place after use.

6. Heaters
The house is equipped with individual heaters in each room for your comfort.
Important: Please make sure to turn off the heaters when exiting a room or when leaving the house. This helps us conserve energy.

7. Cellar and Laundry Room
Location: Both the cellar and laundry room are located downstairs.
The cellar is for general storage.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer for your use. Detergent and other essentials are provided. Please be sure to only use detergent provided (this is not a HE washing machine), and clean the lint trap between every load of laundry!

Checkout Guide

Thank you for staying with us! To help us prepare the space for the next guests, please follow the steps below before you check out:

1. Set the Thermostat
Set the thermostat to 55°F to conserve energy while keeping the home at a safe temperature.

2. Turn Off All Heaters
Please make sure all individual heaters in the rooms are turned off to help save energy.

3. Turn Off the Water Pump Switch
Locate and turn off the water pump switch to prevent any unnecessary water usage.

4. Lock the Cellar Door
Ensure the cellar door is securely locked.
Lock the Sliding Glass Door
Double-check that the sliding glass door is fully closed and locked.

5. Close ALL Windows
Make sure that every window in the house is closed and secured before you leave.

6. Used Linens
Please leave used bed linens (sheets, pillowcases, blankets) on the beds or on the floor for us to gather and launder.

7. Used Laundry
Place any used towels or other laundry items in the hamper or on the floor so we can easily collect them.

8. Trash Disposal
Please dispose of all trash bags in the basement trash recepticles. Do not leave any trash outside for wild animals to discover!

9. Lock the Front Door
Before you exit, please lock the front door behind you.
